    June 14: LAGERS x BOCK event

    Join LAGERS and BOCK (Brewers of Central Kentucky) for an afternoon of good beer, great company, and fresh air at West Sixth Farm. We will be swapping recipes, troubleshooting tips, and tasting notes with fellow homebrewers.  LAGERS members, BOCK members, and friends who love homebrew are invited to enjoy the farm’s outdoor seating, trails, hop yard, pond and more, as well as to enjoy West Sixth’s lineup straight from the source.     Next Meeting: May 19 | pH in Brewing Join LAGERS at our next meeting on May 19 at Akasha Brewing Company. LAGERS member Alex Rezmerski will discuss the impact of pH across the brewing process (mash, boil, fermentation) with a special focus on finished beer. Read up on pH before the talk.     Reminder: May 19 Meeting

    Join LAGERS at our next meeting on May 19 at Akasha Brewing Company. LAGERS member Alex Rezmerski will discuss the impact of pH across the brewing process (mash, boil, fermentation) with a special focus on finished beer. Alex’s presentation will include a tasting of a beer adjusted to different pH’s. June 16 Meeting: LAGERS Cup Join LAGERS at the second round of the 2025 LAGERS Cup on June 16. This quarter’s category is “honey.” Beer submitted must use honey as an adjunct. If you are entering a beer, please remember to save 64oz of it for next month!

    Reminder: March 17 Meeting

    Join LAGERS at the first round of the 2025 LAGERS Cup on March 17. If you are submitting an American Pale Ale, please bring at least 64oz and sign in your beer as soon as you arrive. Please also label each bottle/can/container with your name. If you are planning to vote, please bring $5. We are increasing the voting fee this year to sweeten the pot. All proceeds go to the round winners and Cup champion: half of the pot to that round’s winner and the other half of each pot to the overall winner. Five dollars will also get you six…
