At 7:30, Jerry Nagy, head brewer at Against the Grain, will be talking to us about dry hopping. Come on out, bring some homebrew to share, and enjoy a short talk. Hey LAGERS! Just a quick reminder that bulk grain pick up is tomorrow at Apocalypse Brewing from 2-4 pm. Please keep in mind that they don’t open until 2. If you bought grain, you are required to pick it up tomorrow! If that isn’t possible, please reach out to us ASAP to make other arrangements. Hey LAGERS! Just a quick reminder about our meeting this Monday at 7 PM. We’ll be meeting at Akasha, as usual. This month we’ll have a talk about Oktoberfest. Some history, style guidelines, recipe overview, etc. Then we’ll do a tasting of commercial examples. Some local, some national, and even a few from Munich. We’ll also have our best beer of the meeting competition. It’s pretty informal; try all the homebrew and vote for your favorite!
