The deadline is quickly approaching for the entry deadline for the 2026 Kentucky State Fair. Prior to 09-July, entries are only $5. After 09-July the cost will rise to $8 per entry but you still have time to enter. After 16-July the entry deadline will expire and you will be sad because you missed out on this year’s fair. Put it in your calendar for 2027 and plan ahead for next year! If you missed the deadline, all is not lost. Our LAGERs club will be hosting their Summer Party on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The deets: LOCATION: 105 South Front Street, Utica, IN 47130. Come straight down Mulberry Street headed East to the river – ignore Waze and Google trying to get you to turn earlier and go around the block. Feel free to pull up into the driveway for keg/food drop-offs and those mobility restricted. We can fit 6-8 cars in the driveway if you pull in nice and tight. As a reminder, the LAGERs summer party will be on Saturday, July 18. Come out and enjoy some river views and share in some club fellowship at our Summer Party. Spouses and families welcome. Bring a dish to share and something cold and refreshing. Also, right on the heels of the Summer Party will be our July monthly meeting on the July 20th. The theme will be a BJCP judging review. We will (hopefully) be judging the American Pale that was brewed at the Craft Bash on June 27th. See you there!

Congrats to Ron K for winning Round 2 of the 2026 LAGERS Cup and pulling into 1st overall. Sean S came in second place in Round 2. He is sitting at fourth overall. Nathan M came in third place in Round 2, which put him tied for second overall (with Craig M, Round 1 winner). A first place from any of the members tied for fifth at 8 points would catapult them into contention.
