August Meeting Reminder
Our August meeting will be this Monday, August 21st, at 6:30pm. As always, we’ll be at Akasha Brewing in NuLu.
We’re doing critical feedback one-on-one again. If you have a beer that you’d like to get some feedback on from a BJCP judge, please email me so I can hook you up with one of our volunteer judges. This can be as formal or as informal as you’d like. From getting a BJCP score, to chatting about recipe and anything in-between.
I’m also going to be bringing pizza. Several people have said that if we provided food, they would buy it. So, I’m going to bring a few pizzas and see how that goes. I’ll probably sell it per slice, and you can pay cash or PayPal directly to the club.
Yappy Hour Brew-In
We’re bringing back the Yappy Hour Brew-In! It will be Saturday, August 26th, at 12:00pm. Location is Apocalypse Brewing. We encourage you to bring your propane brew system and brew a beer! I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to use the new 20-gallon Blichmann Surface kettle as well, but I don’t think ABW can handle any other electric systems.

Blichmann Brewing Ambassador Program
As many of you know, LAGERS has been selected to be part of Blichmann’s inaugural Brewing Ambassador Program. I’ll lay out exactly what that means in the next newsletter, but part of it is completing market research surveys or them. We’ve already gotten our first one, and I’d really appreciate it if everyone reading this would fill it out. It literally takes two minutes.
