Contact lagersclub@gmail.com by March 19th if you are already a BJCP judge and are looking to improve your tasting exam score. On March 20th, exam registration opens to non-members. This is a reminder to drop off your entries for the Tailspin Ale Fest homebrew competition between Jan 27 and Feb 2. Bring them to Apocalypse Brew Works when the taproom is open. Apocalypse Hours Register and Label Your Beer Please submit your full recipe to lagersclub@gmail.com, and complete the registration form if you have not done so already. You must submit two bottles per entry with brewer name, brewer contact and entry name. If your entry contains a common allergen (e.g., nuts), please note it on the bottle. Join LAGERS at Gordon Biersch for a happy hour on February 1 from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Head brewer Maggie Bray will give a talk to the club during the event. Spread the word and share the Facebook event.

BJCP Training Class Important info (TLDR): LAGERS is happy to announce that we will be putting on a BJCP training course in 2024. This course will last 10-14 weeks, meeting once a week. It will cover everything you need to know to take the BJCP Beer Judging Exam. The course will be administered by Craig Gardone, with help from many other BJCP judges from the area (and maybe some special guest teachers!). The course will be $150, all of which will go towards purchasing beers for each style in the BJCP Style Guidelines. Any money left over will be refunded…
