Hey LAGERS!
December’s meeting has been moved to the 13th! We will meet at Akasha at 7 PM.
This meeting will be our annual white elephant gift exchange. Gifts can be beer related (up to and including beer itself), gag gifts and sincere gifts are also encouraged. $20 max please!
This month will also include the return of the most popular beer vote! So bring your best homebrew and see how it stacks up to your fellow club members. We’re working on adding a prize to this as well.
We’re also working on reviving the popular monthly expert tasting panel. LAGERS members can bring in their homebrew and get feedback from BJCP certified judges. In order to do that, we need to know who among us is certified. If you are part of LAGERS and are certified, please take one minute to fill out this form for us, even if you aren’t able to judge.
During the meetings, don’t forget to tip your bartender! Reminder that Akasha opens special for us on Monday nights, so let’s make it worthwhile for them.
If you ordered anything in the Fall grain buy, don’t forget that pickup is Sunday, December 12th at 2:00pm at Apocalypse. Please do not show up before the 12th!
Lastly, we have new secretary. Me! My name is Nathan Muleski and I’m taking over the secretary position for Robert. Robert will be stepping down as secretary but still will remain a LAGERS officer and continue to help. Next time you see Robert, buy him a beer and thank him for all his hard work.
I’m very excited to step into this new role working with Greg, Sarah, Brandon, and Robert to make LAGERS the best club it can be.
