The end of the year is approaching fast, and we have some great events scheduled. I hope everyone is looking forward to our next monthly meeting on 10/16 and are planning to bring some homebrew! We had a great selection of brews brought by members to our last meeting (see below for details) and the monthly contest was decided by just a single vote!
Looking forward we have our next brew in event on November 5th at Apocalypse Brew Works, where we will also be wrapping up our fall Grain Bulk Buy and also the Annual Great Pumpkin Brew Off! Some of you might have noticed the “smack talk” on our facebook page– Tim Moore is the reigning two time champion, but Mark Robinson is gunning for him this year! Who else will enter a beer and take a shot at the title?
As far as the Bulk Buy, look for some information and the order form as the date approaches.
Recent Happenings
We had a great turnout for Yappy Hour on September 29th. Thanks so much to all of the LAGERS who volunteered to help with set up, tear down, and pouring beer for all of the guests. We don’t have the totals yet for the event… ABW is still working through the remaining kegs that were not empty at the end of the night, hopefully selling every ounce of the Yappy Hour beers. We will let everyone know how we did as soon as we can. Watch the Video.
The September meeting was a great time, I hope everyone enjoyed Tim Moore’s excellent presentation on brewing Pumpkin beers!
