It’s here! If you have passed the BJCP online class and have been thinking about taking your certification to the next level, Chuck Harp will be hosting the LAGERS members for a comprehensive tasting exam class.
There will be a total of 12 classes between April 8, 2019 and the actual exam date of July 21, 2019. Because one of the primary interests of the Lagers is to help it’s members become better brewers and judges, there will probably be some sponsorship of these classes by the club.
The cost for a Lagers member who wishes to learn more about beer styles, and to prepare themselves to take the BJCP tasting exam is $100. This includes 12 sessions, the cost of the beer at each session, and the rental of the facility. There is a strict limit of 12 people who can take the BJCP tasting exam on July 21.

Due to the deal we have with Total Wine in St. Matthews, we have to commit to a full house. No refunds for missed class days will be available for any individual. Classes will be held on Mondays from 6:30 -8:30 pm. If there is a Lagers meeting that Monday, the class will be moved to a alternate day.
