Hello Lagers!
Summer is here and with it the heat and humidity that makes summertime in the ‘Ville so much fun! Not to worry– our own Evan Brill has volunteered to talk to all of us about brewing Pilsner at our next meeting on June 17th. Now I know what all of you are thinking… Evan Brill is our resident hop-head, right? I thought he only made IPA? Well for those of you who don’t know.. Evan is also a fantastic LAGER brewer (pun intended) with a number of award winning lager beers to his credit, including a Best of Show Vienna Lager at the Indiana State Fair Homebrew Competition.
So if you want to learn more about brewing this fantastic style, or if you are just in the mood to taste a crisp, delicious example– please join us at Akasha on June 17th. Doors open at 7, the meeting will begin at 7:30.
