August 6th at Apocalypse Brew Works. Start time will be 8:30 AM– bring your brewing rig and be ready for a great time. Yappy Hour is a great event hosted by ABW and Lagers where we get a rare privilege of selling our homebrewed beer to support the Humane Society. Recipes will have to be submitted ahead of time to allow for ingredients to be purchase, and will be due by 7/23. We will have a sign up sheet available through Facebook and the club web page for recipe submission shortly. I know many of you have asked about the rules/restrictions/recipe guidelines– these details are being finalized and we will have the information to you shortly.
Concurrent with the Yappy Hour Brew In we will have a Chili Cook Off– this used to be an annual tradition with the LAGERS and we would like to see it become an annual event again. Make a put of your best chili and bring it to the Brew In to be judged. Judging will be people’s choice for all attendees, so even if you aren’t brewing, come out and have some chili and BRING A KEG OF HOMEBREW TO SHARE.
