Good evening LAGERS! I’d like to share the winning recipe from our May meeting homebrew contest. Evan Brill was the winner with his excellent German Pilsner. I hope everyone who attended had a chance to try this beer! Evan will be presenting more about how to brew this style in our June monthly meeting, but for now we’d like to share his winning recipe. See the recipe link below with details about the grain and hop bills, along with water treatment and mash/boil schedules. Enjoy! German Pilsner

April 15th 7pm at Akasha Brewing, we will be hosted once more for our monthly meeting. Join us as we discuss the science and practice of adding sugar to beer. Craig Gardone will educate us on how and when to add sugar and how the timing and sugar type impacts the end product. Ever wonder what the ideal time to add sugar is? Well wonder no more!
