For those who are new to the Club, Yappy Hour is our annual charity event with Apocalypse Brew Works to raise money for the Kentucky Humane Society during Louisville’s Craft Beer Week. It is also our big opportunity to highlight homebrewing and the LAGERS Club. Essentially, the idea is that we host a brew-in with ABW on the first Sunday of August where Club members can brew any recipe they want on premise.     Call For Judges For The Kentucky State Fair Homebrew Competition

    The Kentucky State Fair Homebrew competition is August 11th & 12th, and we need your expertise! Our competition has 3 judging sessions, starting Friday evening and continuing Saturday morning and afternoon. We judged over 450 entries last year, so your beer knowledge, sensory and judging skills will be greatly appreciated for any or all of our judging sessions. Out-of-Town Judges This year, we are able to offer to 10 BJCP Judges (Recognized & above who judge 2 sessions and travel over 100 miles one-way) a check for $100 from the Kentucky State Fair.
