Here is a link to the signup sheet for the Rock House/Nate’s Coffee Homebrew Competition, to be held on the morning of May 13th at Rock House Brewery. Don’t hesitate to signup if you’re not yet sure what coffee to use, you can always edit later. Signups will end on May 8th, or when we reach 30 entries. April Monthly Meeting– “Growing Hops” Thought about growing your own hops? Hop farmer and LAGERS member Michael Vincent Taylor is going to talk to us about growing hops – from planting the rhizomes to harvesting the cones. As part of the regular meeting, Lagers Homebrew Club will host a homebrew competition. When you bring your homebrew to the meeting, you will be asked the style, and it will be entered in the monthly LAGERS competition. Goodwood will be hosting a brew-in at their facility on April 15th from 8:30 am to 4pm. You are invited to bring out your brewing equipment to brew up a batch of your finest. In addition, beers brewed on site are eligible for the Goodwood Bud Hope Memorial Brew-off Competition, where the winning batch will be brewed and served at Goodwood.
