Hello brewers! It is that time of year again; time to invite someone to brew his or her beer for the adoring public. If you are unfamiliar with how we have done this over the last few years it is really simple. Essentially, we’re having an in-house beer competition at Gordon Biersch, and the winner will be invited to come in and brew the winning beer on our system. We’ll have a fun tapping party, and raise money for the Humane Society. This month is the Dirty Santa Party! To participate in the Dirty Santa exchange, bring a wrapped, bagged, or otherwise disguised gift. The cost/value should be around $10-$20. Generally it should be something beer or brewing related. More info on how the game works will be provided at the meeting– but it involves substantial amounts of treachery and deception! We are having our 5th annual Tailspin Brew-Off. The spirit of the competition is to brew some variation on the Winter Warmer theme. This years winning beer will be brewed as the signature beer for the 6th Anniversary Tailspin Festival Ale .
